The story is set in 2080 and is about man versus machine and we’re talking lots of machines here. From giant five story tall rampaging robots to cyborgs disguised as humans so you don’t know where the bad guys are sometimes. The fact that you can interact with Kinect means this squad-based game is going to task you to the limits.

No telling how far the Kinect action will be but in general you’ve got voice commands and body and head movement tracked by the Kinect tracking technology.

Considering the massive environment with it’s complex AI system, this should take Kinect technology to its limits and then some. From the looks of the game it’s got it all. Great graphics of course, a brilliant storyline considering it’s coming from Toshihiro Nagoshi and Sega. You’ll be amazed at the combat scenes because the tracer rounds, explosions, debris flying all over and weapons choices will have you ready to dive into the action and try every weapon out.

What little that’s been released is tantalizing enough to keep gamers’ imaginations perculating as to what else to expect from this game. We know it looks cool, the gameplay trailer looks heads and shoulders above the cliché games and the thought of rolling through this battle heavy environment and plot using Kinect means you know you’re going to get your money’s worth along with a storyline that doesn’t leave the game feeling like another post apocalyptic shoot em’ up.

So 2012 is when this massive game is due out and you know the quality will be there so get your Kinect on and wait to see how much fun Binary Domain is going to be.

Mind you, Sega has a lot riding on this game. They know it has lots of competition coming out at the end of 2011 and during 2012. That’s probably why they figure the teaming up of Toshihiro and Kinect for the Xbox 360 is a guarantee and they may be right.
